Acme Landscape

If I could give 0 stars I would! This is by the WORST landscaping business ever. When Jose and his wife originally came out to our house almost a year ago, they tried to make themselves seem like good, honest business people, but I quickly learned that was not the case.I wanted Acme Landscaping to mow the yard twice a month (every other week). The first thing that was fishy to me is that Acme Landscaping charges upfront. That should have been a sign for me to run away, because how are you charging before you even begin the job? Jose did not show up several times, and once I even parked my car in the garage so I could see him when he pulled up, as I watched him and his workers, get out of the truck, go into the backyard, and then leave not even 5 minutes later. They did NOTHING. When I sent him messages saying this, he lied and said he did cut the yard. The next time he cut, he sent me a picture message to prove that he actually cut the grass. We went on for several months, dealing with his no shows, and choosing to cut whenever he wants, so we decided to stop his services. After trying several other landscapers who charged much more in price, we decided to give Jose and his team one more shot. Once again, no-shows, forgetting that we were on the schedule, and having to track him down to ask why our lawn was not cut on Friday like we had planned several times. He always gave excuses and would have to come out the next day, or said he would come out the next week. We paid for 2 mowings in July,and after many back and forth emails AFTER paying for the mowings, he said grass is not growing, and that he would come out next week and towards the end of the month. During the first mowing in July, my fiance received a phone call from Jose nonchalantly saying that he had broken our storm door that we had sitting against the side of the house because it was going to be painted soon. Not only did he not really give a sh*t when he left the message, but he said "we will pay for it or whatever." Good thing is, he did pay to have the storm door replaced. We sent him a quote, and the payment was received quickly. We paid for that second mowing for Jose, to which Jose said he would come at the end of the month, and he never did. We had been emailing him, calling him, and texting him. We finally received a text back today that he already did the second mowing, and he can prove it (which is BS because he can't prove it), and then said to never call or text that number again. Jose is a terrible businessman, and he is a con artist. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH ACME LANDSCAPING. He will be nice to you upfront, but then take your money and do the job whenever he feels like it. I am really appalled that this man is doing business and getting away with it, and I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau for further investigation.

Jose and his son are wonderful to work with. They do an excellent job on our yard maintenance. They are very responsive, honest and fair. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for landscapers!

I am completely satisfied with Acme Landscape. Jose and his crew has done many jobs from mowing grass to winter cleanup. Most recently tending all the garden beds, re-barking and brush clean-up. Jose is very professional, dependable and takes care of everything that needs to be done. His pricing is very reasonable. I would recommend him and his company to anyone.
