We invite you to take a moment to learn our history and understand certain processes and equipment we have implemented. History Our father was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina as Juan Domingo Pernisco. He was one of 11 brothers and sisters. The family believed in the American Dream. They worked and saved together, longing to immigrate to the United States of America. Supporting each other, one by one, the family made it possible to send each sibling to the United States of America in the early 1960’s. One by one, they learned the English language and prepared to take their citizenship examination with the United States Immigration office. As each sibling became a United States citizen, they began settling in the greater Los Angeles area, each focused on learning a trade in the construction industry. One brother became a licensed concrete contractor, another a general contractor, B licensed. One brother became a licensed painter while the remaining siblings decided to be masons as well as other tradesmen. Our father was the sibling who became the General Contractor. He acquired his license with the Contractors State License Board in 1968. Juan (John) continued as a General Contractor, John’s Construction, until 1985, when he decided to follow in the footsteps of his older brother Lorenzo “Larry” Pernisco as a painter. One afternoon, John came home to his only daughter Neffer, asking her what to name the family’s new painting business. Neffer, age 5, looked up her daddy with big beautiful eyes, toting her Rainbow Brite dolly in her arms and said, “Daddy, you paint all the colors of the rainbow, like Rainbow Brite, you should name it, ‘Rainbow Painting’”. And so it was, Rainbow Painting indeed. Background Over the years, John painted for famous Hollywood actors and actresses. While working for the likes of Barbara Streisand and Joe Pesci, John also painted for cities and large corporations such as City of Los Angeles, Deluxe Media Management and many others. Now in his retirement years, John has handed down his family-owned business to his daughter and son-in-law. We are a Woman-Owned, Veteran-Operated, Family-Owned business. Apart from residential painting projects, we have painted for the City of Palmdale, Deluxe Media Management, FPI Management and Newport-Pacific Capital Management. Our Methods We pride ourselves by employing military veterans and apprenticed painters. We are not the lowest priced painters, nor are we the highest priced painters either. We are simply the painters who care most about your home, your commercial or industrial business property. We strive to produce a finish quality at a competitive price point designed to meet your budget. Our business size allows us to rapidly increase or decrease our personnel numbers based on project demand. Inventory management – We secure your materials on your property in an approved location or Mobile-Mini storage container. Safety procedures – We conduct regular morning and close of business tailgate meetings to disseminate information and tasks to our employees. Quality standards - Are all benchmarks we strive to continually adhere to while adapting to property management augmentations in process. We stress demonstrating a cost savings in production, while delivering tangible deadlines. We accomplish this by implemented Processes and Procedures to properly mask and paint using minimal materials with proper coverage.
