I have an existing ceiling fan which I need to be replaced with a new fan. The fan is located in the living room with a vaulted sloped ceiling and is mounted approximately 15 off the floor. The existing downrod is about 36 but the new downrod is 60. The fan is still well above the floor. The fan received power from a wall switch but is controlled by a hand held remote control. The existing fan is 48 size but the new one is 60. The fan is a Craftmade Fredericksburg FB60OBG5. The fan has been purchased but is in transit. As soon as I have tracking information I can schedule the installation which I would like to have done ASAP.
