Gutter N the Gulf

BEWARE of this company and the Ron guy, I believe he is the owner. He is very rude, foul mouth, and has wild temper. He shouted in front of my kids (calling me 'son of a bitch' and F bomb) and kicked things around in my backyard. I had to ask him to leave my property immediately before I call the police. This is not the behavior anyone would expect from a professional regardless of what the issue is. Flash back: On Feb, 22, 2021 Ron was on my property measuring for gutters as he confused for my neighbor's property. Since he had the measurements, I asked him for a quote. Also, to provide a quote on our second home. He sent me a quote over the text for $1,100 and $1,400 respectively when I do both houses. I tried to call him the next day, his wife Karen picked up the phone, and said that he is away and she can help. I said I need to speak with him about the price on the second home, which looks high, and just asked her when they can do the job if I hired them. She replied the following Tuesday is available, and can schedule it for that day. I told her I need to confirm after negotiating the price with Ron. During the week I got exposed to a Covid-19 positive case, and I could not call Ron. On Tuesday, Ron showed up on my property unannounced and started to install the gutters. I called Karen and told her how they can start working without my confirmation. I asked her to stop the work, and she agreed after an argument. Then I felt bad about it, since the guy now has to uninstall the portion of the work, so I called back, and asked her to finish the work on this house and agree to pay the quoted price of $1,100. She agreed and the guy continued to install the gutters. After a couple of hours I went outside and told Ron that I have to leave for a Dr. appointment, if he needed anything water or something. Before I could finish, he went ballistic, and shouted that he is done with this shit job and that I lied. I was shocked and asked him “what's the problem”, if he did not want to do the job, he can leave and take the stuff out. He started shouting, calling me 'son of a bitch' and kicking the gutters around. I said, "Sir, you cannot use foul language In front of my kids, and I am not going to pay if you behave like this, and will call the police." He started shouting more, and threatened to put a lien on the house, and sue my ass. I felt the situation was getting dangerous, and I came inside the house and shut the door. Later, Karen left a threatening voicemail, and demanded the check immediately. I called her back and explained the situation, but she was indignant that Ron and her were right and that I lied. I told her that my wife has the checkbook, and she can come in the evening to pick up the check. They never apologize for their behavior. I do not want anyone to go through this hell and deal with these nasty people, and risk an attack when things go wrong...BEWARE OF THEM.
