Client needed more living space for their growing family, and required additional garage square footage for storage. We accomplished this by adding on to the back of their garage, and building living space above the new garage area. The new living space was then finished as a master bedroom and bathroom, providing the client with 400 square feet on it's own level from the rest of the home. Meanwhile, the new insulated and heated garage space below was tied into the existing garage by removing the former exterior wall.

A combination of rustic timber and fine finishes created this unique multi-use walkout basement. By removing a bearing wall, we opened the space and created a natural flow from the backyard patio/pool area to the rec. room, living room, and bar.
