Took our money and disappeared!

We have been working with ARZ since mid June on remodeling our master shower which they projected would take 1 week. From a delayed start, to showing up extremely sporadically over three months, they only got roughly 75% done. We paid them in full using square.com at their suggestion. ARZ’s communication is terrible, and they do not show up when they say they will. The last day they worked (July 27th) the bathroom was left filthy and all of their supplies were left in our front yard and driveway. We have not have a response from them in two weeks, and googling their company shows they moved states and closed their business.

ARZ was in breach of contact by not purchasing materials we paid them to purchase, which we have proof of. Additionally, they agreed to 2 weeks to complete our home remodeling project. However, 6 weeks into the project, they were approximately only 30% complete, as well as inflicted damages to our home. We paid ARZ over $30k and have very little to show for it. It is now going to cost us double to repair damages they caused, purchase materials and to complete the project.
