I am Aaron Coburn, owner of ACG Carpentry and this is a little about me, and my business i have started. I am a carpenter by trade, and have many years of experience, i have worked as a laborer for many years, i know all of the ins and outs of a persons house. I have learned from the best, and the only way to keep up to date and keep learning, is to keep doing it. I started ACG Carpentry in the Spring of 2009 and have come a long way. I have customers that trust me to do any project that they want done, and i also have customers that call on me all hours of the day. I believe that in today's world, trust is something you have to earn, it is not something that you just gain. I am fully insured to do the work i do, as most contractors or carpenters should be. I am also certified to work with lead paint. I am experienced in Electrical & Plumbing which also makes me a very reliable and dependable Handyman. I moved to St. Albans, VT in 2008 to get away from all of the bad in my life and start out fresh. This being the reason i would like to continue on being a carpenter, it is what i like to do. If you know anyone or even yourself that has some projects to be done, please don't hesitate to call, i can come and discuss your issues and let you know what i think should be done. We are not all perfect, some have more needs then others, and some live different lives then others, unfortunately i have followed the rough road like others and have also picked up a trade i love to do, and i love to make peoples dreams become they're reality!!!

Shower Remodel | Mar 2014 | I stripped the entire shower caulk and replaced it with new caulk, and scrubbed this entire place with bleach water. You can still see a very little spot in the bottom back corner of the shower that i wasn't able to get to. | Essex, VT
Garage Addition and Siding | Mar 2014 | Definitly make a big improvement, although they did want to reuse the old siding, and did want to replace the same window!! You can also see i left the board on the house where the old roof was setting before! Yes i had to put extra siding up! There were electrical wires and cable wires running across the rafters we removed, we buried them underground and lead them to their destination. | Essex Junction, VT
Hardwood Floring | Feb 2014 | At first we had to rip out the carpet, just to find nice hardwood flooring already laid underneath. Why people would cover up the nice hardwood floors back in the day with carpet always confuses me!! | St Albans, VT
Bathroom Remodel | Dec 2013 | First i had to rip out the walls, all the overhead storage that was there, and find another place to put the toilet. The plan for this room is to make more room in it then there was before i started. The room only measures 5'x6' 6"" so its pretty tight. In this picture you can see where the sink was. Im leaving the sink there and going to move the toilet out of its original spot and set it back in the corner. In the picture below is where the toilet once sat. | Burlington, VT
Garage Roof Replacement | Jul 2013 | Carpenter ants are the main cause of this rot, we did this job smooth and problem free. 33 sheets of sheathing and this is what we ended up with. On the entire garage we had to replace 16" of sheathing around the whole thing, we also cut out and replaced the rotted spots on it to. | Essex Junction, VT
Pool Patio | May 2013 | Railing and patio installed along the above ground pool. | South Burlington, VT
Bathroom in Milton | Mar 2014 | A closet was built in the bathroom. The back wall was at one time used for a washer and dryer. We also installed a new corner shower. | Milton, VT
Bathroom Remodel | Jan 2014 | The toilet in this bathroom had leaked and ruined the floor around the toilet. I removed the ruined flooring and laidd down a new piece. The owners wanted me to lay tile down as a new floor. In the picture above i am just starting to lay the hardibacker so i can lay out the tile. In the picture below i have laid out the tile and will soon be ready for grout. | Milton, VT |
