Truly a jack of all trades, Michael restored my aging wood privacy fence that had been tagged. He has a great eye for detail and explains every step. Using a top notch, one coat stain he was able to roll and spray over 1300 sq. ft. of fence in a short time. In addition he noticed that some of the boards were damaged due to water and came up with a plan to prevent further damage by using a polyurethane sealant. Very pleased with the result.

I had used Calvert Electrical Service in the past and was very pleased with the quality of work and professionalism so I contacted him again to replace a GFI plug and discuss some lighting needs I wanted his input and creativity on. He showed up when he said he would, even worked around my schedule and came in the evening so I wouldn't have to miss work. He not only replaced the GFI and gave me excellent suggestions for my lighting needs, he took the time to listen to what I was saying and he asked pertinent questions as to the use and types of activities I would be using the area. Doing that gave him (and me) lighting options/designs that I would have never considered. He offers a lifetime guarantee on his labor too...I have never worked with ANY company that is so confident in their knowledge and skills that they can make a lifetime warranty offer. I asked him how he can do that and he simply stated that although he can not warranty equipment he can warranty his labor and skills because he knows when he leaves a job, it is done and done right. He said customer satisfaction is a core value to him and his business. I am sold on Calvert Electrical Service and Michael Joe will be my go to electrician from now on for his skills, knowledge, creativity, customer service and all that for a very reasonable price.
