Front Porch Build new Pressure Treated stair risers Install existing stair treads Build new frame around bottom of porch floor Install new wood lattice Build new corner post (style to replicate existing posts) Side Porch Remove entire existing porch (framing, posts, floor, and stairs) Dig 3 holes approx. 40 deep Set sonotubes in holes Pour concrete pillars to support new posts Build new porch frame (2x8 Pressure treated lumber 16o.c.) Set 3 new 6x6 Pressure treated posts across front of porch (supports for roof) Trim out new posts with pine boards (style to replicate existing posts) Install new pressure treated deck boards for flooring Build new stairs from porch floor to back yard (stairs will have railing on both sides) Install new vinyl lattice to enclose under new porch Install new Pressure treated railing with 2x2 square spindles (replicate existing railing style) Bay window roof Build new pitched roof over bay window Framing will be 16 o.c. Install 5/8 CDX plywood over framing Install new black arch. Shingles on roof Install flashing from house wall to roof
