At Build N Save, we offer custom remodeling, small project building, and contracting services. The owner, Johnny Mak Jones, grew up in the Northwest and has lived in Seattle since 1981. He worked as a carpenter early in his career and then as superintendent for R.L. Boillin, building high end homes in Las Vegas, Oregon and Washington. Johnny joined Ederer Inc. as Senior project superintendent to build the retractable roof transport system at Safeco Field for the Seattle Mariners, then was hired by the Mariners as the first roof operator and manager of engineering and maintenance. Johnny left the Mariners to start up West Coast Companies and ran multi-million dollar projects as a project manager and partner. Build N Save developed from West Coast Companies, and Johnny helped Jamak Enterprises and Raven Construction as a construction consultant to develop company strategies and success. His expertise in design, customer care, and cost/budget control - as well as his long term relationship with many of the best, local subcontractors - helped him be an integral part of many successful projects. Bijia grew up in the Liao Ning, China where she worked as HR manager for the local government. She has extension experience in buying, remodeling and flipping homes. Bijia brings amazing style and personality to the team. She has had the opportunity to work in the construction industry for over 15 years and understands the needs of the customers and international culture and design preferences.
