The President of Neres Home Builder LLC is Maurineu Pereira and he was the person I dealt with and paid. The project included demolition, construction, and electrical needs. However, on the first day of the project, Mr. Pereira (who speaksPortuguese) didn’t bring any tools, supplies, or clean-up items. Mr. Pereira relied on outsourcing every aspect of the project to individuals who were from Brazil and like him spoke very little English. Most of the time the workers would arrive by themselves and without the supplies needed to complete the job. My agreement with Mr. Pereira was I would pay for supplies but the receipts often had items for tools that a person that does construction should already have in their toolbox; such as saw blades, drill bits, wire, electrical tape, etc… So if you agree to a similar agreement, review the receipts with care. Once you give Mr. Pereira that final check, you will never see Mr. Pereira again as there are no guarantees with the work completed. The work done was just OKAY but the project environment was very stressful and it is something I would not want to experience a second time.
