| Deck Repair | Aug 2016 | Re-Decking steps Removed old decking from frame Cleaned and prepped any wood that would be exposed after decking. (6 existing posts) Removed Stair Stringer Reattached frame to wall as needed. Added 2”X2” to top of frame. (Needed, due to composite decking 1”, is thinner than old decking 1.5”. This provided a clean surface to adhere new decking to and raised the deck to avoid exposing wall that was discolored.) Installed and leveled new stair stringers. Installed Trex Select composite decking, including steps. Built wood handrails including spindles. Installed new vinyl Lattice to cover any openings. Painted all exposed wood and lattice to match composite deck color (Saddle). Removed all old material and debris. Cleaned deck and work area. | Tampa, FL |
