In May of 2018 we hired Blake Williamson to convert our garage to a living room, create a bedroom out of the old living room and do some flooring/painting work in the kitchen/dining. We were quoted a finish date of mid July 2019. The work that was done was decent, however he rarely showed up when he supposed to. He often lied about coming and working or would make up some sort of personal excuse. We would go WEEKS without hearing anything from him, and would have to constantly text and call to ask when he would be back. July came and went and the rooms were not even livable at that point. He continued to ask for more money even though the contract we signed said half up front + material cost and half when finished. We unfortunately paid more than the up front cost to him when he asked because it was about the only way to get him to come and work on stuff that HAD to be done as we had then become a family of 6 living out of 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (My wife was pregnant and had our 4th child during this mess). He did not finish one room in our entire project. He also talked us into letting him remodel our bathrooms. Well he demolished one bathroom before he ever finished anything else on the original project with no contract on the bathrooms and really no notice that he was starting on them. He stopped after the demolition to finish the original project. Well here we are a year later and my bathroom is still demolished. We are out a lot of money that we paid for services that were never completed. The estimate we received listed the price to finish the project to be over $6000 in order to get everything completed that he had in the contract we signed plus finishing the bathroom that he ruined. Below is a list of things left undone in the Living Room/Laundry Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Girls Bedroom, Bathrooms: LR: No trim in living room, needs another coat of paint (I think what’s on the walls now is only primer), door to laundry room needs painted and doorknob, he lost the cover to the wires on our light fixture, no receptacles put in (lights have power but we can’t plug anything in), holes where old electric is left in the walls, mini split (heat/air unit) needs to be rewired as its running to much (I think that’s how it was explained), water heater needs ventilated and new door put on, caulking and woodwork needs completed, laundry room needs trim, transition in flooring needed between L and LR, and LR and K, and case opening left totally undone and not even started on. DR: No electricity, STOLE our brand new light fixture ($130) I went and purchased (took it home to “put it together” and never brought it back), electrical work needs to be done and light switches put in, grout work was done poorly (crumbling) and needs redone, trim needs put down, finishing touches on painting, and transitions in flooring needed between K and DR, DR and GB, and DR and hallway. K: Grout work needs to be redone (crumbling and caused two tiles to crack), touch ups on paint, trim was removed and now missing. GB: One of their walls painted looks HORRIBLE (I was promised they could do glitter paint and it would look great) it’s super splotchy and doesn’t look good. We had a friend come and fix the girls lights for us which we are incredibly grateful for, until that they had no lights in their room. Light switch has large holes around it that need patched up. Doors are missing doorknobs and not painted. B: totally demolished one bathroom and demolished the floors in shower room. The only good thing is that he had purchased things for the bathroom and left those sitting outside our house in the backyard for MONTHS, so we at least have the new tile, toilet, tub and vanities that we did not pay for. He also used our yard to store these items without asking and then used it to manipulate us, saying I’ll be there on x date you can trust me since I left the bathroom fixtures at your house. Thankfully we hadn’t paid him the money to remodel the bathrooms so because those fixtures were left we were able to recoup a very small portion of what we lost. DO NOT hire Blake Williamson/Second Amendment Enterprises. I’ve made a complaint to the BBB that he has yet to respond to. I hate to leave such a negative review but really don’t want anybody else to be taken advantage of. He was very charismatic and friendly and really went the extra mile to try and earn our trust (such as giving us expensive gifts for being their “favorite” customer 🙄) but we learned he is extremely manipulative and dishonest. I would not recommend hiring Blake Williamson or 2nd Amendment Enterprises to my worst enemy let alone friends and family.

Hired this company because I support small businesses. Blake (owner) was very respectfully and thorough with the estimates on the projects I requested for a rent house we own in Glenpool. We settled on the bathroom remodel and garage ceiling. We were given a time frame of two weeks to complete both projects. The bathroom is quite, small about 50-60 square feet. The demo took over a week to complete. My property manager went back frequently to check on the progress to see little progress throughout the first week. Some days it appeared (again I say appeared) that no work was done at all. Blake confirmed the job would be complete within the time frame. Deadline came and the work was not done. Had to extend the time frame another week to complete the bathroom job. The garage ceiling bid was to repair and paint to match existing ceiling. Blake installed, what appears to be 1x2's to the ceiling and left them unpainted. We are very happy with the finished product in the bathroom. The tub, tile, sink and new fixtures look great. Communication with Blake could have been better. I took it for granted that regular updates would be expected. He did send pictures upon request. Blake was concerned about a positive review before the work was even complete. Due to the extra time it took to complete the bathroom remodel and the quoted garage tasks were incomplete per bid I cannot recommend 2nd amendment for home projects.
