1 OAK Remodeling

When my kitchen remodel was abandoned after I got scammed for 5000 dollars, I called Joshua who screamed and yelled at me. I looked up 1 oak remodeling on the L.A. County civil index and what do you know - these guys have three current cases in court as defendants for contract and business disputes. No surprise at all. No wonder they felt they can rip me off with impunity. They even have filed cross-complaints against the poor people (who just wanted a remodel). According to the public court dockets, 1 oak remodeling is fighting tooth and nail against these innocent unsuspecting victims and literally fighting to the death in court, spending their 150,000 dollars of free government PPP money against homeowners (who just wanted a remodel). They even threatened me with lawsuits and an army of lawyers (they vowed to spend 100,000 fighting me) if I chose to seek reimbursement. Of course, I spent 5000 on a tiny demo and improperly done electric work, so naturally, I have filed a license complaint to go along with all the other previous license complaints they have had. I gave therm a chance to remedy their actions but they only seemed interested in protecting their main company man, Armando, who schedules the workers and runs the company, and do so at all costs. They first come at you with smiles, happy go lucky, with bells and whistles, promising you the world. The main license holder, Eduardo Jose, also an unlimited civil case co-defendant, threatened to come to my house and cause me bodily harm. These are deceivers. Beware to all. And if they want to sue me, I've got two words for them - ANTI-SLAPP (it basically means I have the legal right to review them without anyone chilling that right).

No offense, I hired 1 OAK and expected a nightmare as they look just like other contractors in the valley. All the contractors i've hired in the past we had issues with. Amazingly, They are polite, on top of every detail, very professional. The outcome turned out flawless and impeccable. They taped all the doorways and living room and added a zipper for easy access before demo. Our project manager Josh always answers his phone no matter what time or day. We thought we heard a leak at 11:31 AM and called Josh, he answered and was at our house in less than 30 minutes. Turns out, we had a mouse stuck in our wall. Great company, great work, reliable, great price.
