About Michael Fletcher

I've been in the tradesman field for 12 years. I started out in general remodeling and quickly became foreman. At that point I became the companys electrician and plumber. I then went on to work for a plumbing company, but that didn't last long because I wasn't making commission off of customers. The reason being that I wasn't interested in selling services or products to customers when they truly didn't need it. After I left there and ventured out on my own with the help of Thumbtack, and a little bit of Porch. Here recently Thumbtack has changed its procedures and I believe they are stealing from the Pros. So here I am to give Porch a better shot

Wow ! He was like Jonny on the spot ! He called me to verify what the issue was and scheduled a time to validate it and was very friendly and professional. Gave me a quote right then and there. He arrived on time to complete the job and worked clean. I am well pleased with the job that he had done.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND LOST ALMOST $500.00. Mike Flethers mobile phone is answered by his suppossed nephew Bobby Hamilton. Bobby was hired to do a job, given half up front and the key to the business to have access and then went MIA. He will not respond to phone to texts. There is no way to reach Michael or Bobby. This is what gives Plumbers a bad name. Stay far away from Michael Fletcher and his "nephew".

Hello Heather, this is Michael Fletcher, and I'm just now seeing this. I honestly cannot say how sorry I am. I knew nothing about this situation until a few days ago, when I signed into my account to check things out. Bobby Hamilton was actually the guy that my ex-girlfriend left me for. I didn't use this app very much and stopped all together in late 2019 or early 2020. I'm guessing what happened was I left my email on an old phone and they accessed it, which then have them access to my email and Porch leads. I'm sure he had every intention of taking your money from the get go. Again, I am extremely sorry. He is DEFINITELY not my nephew. I completely understand if you decline, but if you'd like I would be happy to make it up to you and give you $500 in labor credits. I know it doesn't fix what's already been done, but it's the only thing I know to do. If there's another way you'd like me to make it right just let me know and we'll work it out. Again, Heather, thats not the way I do business and I'm deeply sorry. O

Micheal was honest and outstanding. He kept communication throughout the project and he did a wonderful job. Thanks Michael I look forward to working with him in the future as well!
