Stokes Construction Co Inc

Stokes Construction Company, Incorporated has been serving the central part of North Carolina since 1950. We built over three hundred homes in the early years. By the 1960's, we added commercial, institutional, and industrial construction to our expertise in home building. As time passed, we concentrated our efforts increasingly in the areas of institutional, medical, and industrial construction. Our Organization: Our company has been called "Old School". We are proud to operate our business in the way that construction companies were run in the old days. We are not mere brokers of labor and materials. We employ full time, legal, highly trained, professional, construction workers. Our superintendants have all risen through the ranks of the company and are consequently a part of the culture that has made the company successful. We put the interests of our customers first. We stay dedicated to creating a perfect product every time. We try every day to solve problems rather than to create them. Our president is Douglas Stokes. Doug grew up in the business, and started working full time in June of 1970. Doug's sons, Ross and Zane, are now working in the business and will carry the company forward with a third generation of leadership.
