Ralph grew up in Antioch, graduated from Antioch High School & Stanford University and studied at Yale University. He was President of the Delta Association of REALTORS in 2011 and is a Board Member for 2015-2017, was Delta REALTOR of the Year in 2009 and is currently a Director-at-Large of the California Association of REALTORS. He also serves as a Director of the East Bay Regional Data MLS Board for 2015-2016. He was Chairman of the Antioch Chamber of Commerce in 2009 and is a member of Rotary Club of the Delta and the National Association of Property Managers. Ralph holds the professional designations of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI), Seniors Residential Specialist (SRES) and Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE). Ralph Garrow, Sr. started this real estate business in Antioch after returning from serving in the Pacific during WWII. He was quickly successful and expanded the brokerage to be one of the largest in town in the 1960's. He also started developing subdivisions and building homes in 1950 and became one of the largest homebuilders in Antioch through the 1970's, allied with the Vetrano brothers. He partnered with his son, Ralph Garrow, Jr., and George Cardinale in 1977 to continue homebuilding in Antioch, Oakley and Brentwood. Ralph, Jr. and Sr. phased out of homebuilding operations and resumed the residential real estate brokerage service in 2003.
