NEVER EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY! UPDATE: THERE ARE WARRANTS OUT FOR THE ARREST OF CHARLIE WEBSTER AND ASHLEY COATES FOR CREDIT CARD FRAUD FROM THE AURORA POLICE DEPARTMENT. THEY STOLE CREDIT CARDS FROM US AND FRAUDULENTLY CHARGED $1000s OF DOLLARS OF GOODS AND SERVICES. WE KNOW OF AT LEAST ONE OTHER SIMILAR FELONY WARRANT OUT AS WELL FROM ANOTHER PERSON. IF THEY HAVE WORKED FOR YOU IN THE PAST AND YOU HAD BOGUS CREDITS CARD CHARGES DURING OR AFTER THAT TIME, THEY MAY HAVE DONE THE SAME THING WITH YOU. IF SO, CONTACT THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY. IF ANYONE KNOWS OF THEIR CURRENT ADDRESS, PLEASE ALSO CONTACT THE AURORA POLICE AND LET THEM KNOW IMMEDIATELY. We contracted with CHS (Ashley Coates and Charlie Webster) back in March 2019 to do a lot of home renovation items for us. Such things as re-finishing our basement (new drywall, some new flooring, etc.), painting pretty much the entire home interior, installing new interior doors, removing an old attic fan, installing a new main floor banister, installing new basement windows, etc. We had assumed it might take 2 to 3 months to finish it all. SIX MONTHS LATER THEY ARE NOT FINISHED. I cannot even remember all of their excuses for not coming in to do work some days, why they often only arrived by mid to late afternoon, or why they usually did not respond to most texts or phone calls. There were car troubles (including accidents), cell phones lost or not working properly, they were “out of town and did not get our messages, deaths in the family, and even many medical emergencies. Some of the work they actually accomplished looks, so far, as to be okay, but much of what they did either remains unfinished or in need of a LOT of touch-ups and rework. A truly aggravating habit of theirs is to almost finish one room/area, but then move onto another room/area and never get back to finishing the prior room/area. We have rooms that are not fully done, doors that are not fully installed, a stairway where trim was installed on one side but never the other side, and other areas that we were told were all done only to find out that they did not completely do all they said they had done (they lied); an example of this is with the removal of the attic fan, where they told me that they had made sure to put new insulation in the attic over the area…but they didn’t. We have also seen that, since they started work for us, a number of similar, extremely bad reviews have been posted about them. It looks like the Better Business Bureau also revoked their accreditation after we had already hired them (I have NEVER seen THAT before!).

They were the worst!!! If you are looking for a company to do a a mediocre job, they are the one. If you want the worst hire Charlie's Handyman Services (Colorado).

My fiance' worked for this company because they needed the extra help & after working with them he was supposed to get paid for the job but he never received any type of payment for his work. He contacted these people for 2 weeks straight trying to get his check & at first they said they would bring it to him but never did, then he was told he could meet them & he walked miles in the freezing cold to go meet them & pick it up but they never showed up & eventually they just stopped answering there phones & stopped communicating altogether. This experience with this company was completely unprofessional & unacceptable when running a business but it seems like this has happened in the past to other people as well. We now have contacted a Lawyer to pursue this matter further which shouldn't be necessary but its extremely unethical & illegal to break an agreement & take advantage of people the way they did. I would have given 0 stars but that wasn't an option : /
