This has been one of the worst experience we have ever had. They had a promotion for $299 for a cleaning "subscription". They were limited on how many of those they were doing since it was promotional to a few select customers. We purchased one and another for my mother in law since they had originally cleaned her house through Thumbtack's website. They are very wishy washy about when they are going to arrive and will cancel on you at their convenience. The cleaners don't clean. Everything was filthy. Our red flag was a sudden random charge for $299 on our credit card. This was not for the subscription fee since that had been paid weeks prior. Random fee we called them about. Mike in accounting said there would be refunds. Never happened. We canceled the service. When we canceled they suddenly changed their terms of service to be they charge a $200 cancellation fee. And they suddenly had a $50 a month subscription "fee" that wasn't discussed. And there was never any paperwork or contracts. Just verbal agreements over the phone. Shady and a big whoopsie on our part it seems. So we got charged $400 for us and my mother in law. We called AMEX about all of these charges and ended up finding out the original charges of $600 for the initial service was charged twice. So now we're at about $1900 of charges for one cleaning. We called Mike who told us to read the terms of service on the website and he can charge us whatever he wants. He also refused to give any refunds and said to my partner "you're a real estate broker, you can afford it" and then hung up on him. Now we have to work with AMEX for the fraudulent charges and have flagged them as fraud with AMEX. This has all been absolutely insane! Please save yourself the nightmare! Trying to save yourself a little money is never worth it in the long run it seems. Ends us costing you more time and money than you expect. Also note, 2 of our friends also received this "offer" and tried them out. They have since canceled and have the same issues. From other reviews it sounds like a trend with this company.
