Hired contractor to mud/tape and paint our new basement. Original coat was 6 days for mudding/taping and 3 days for painting. 4.5 weeks later we are left with an unfinished basement. We have to sand and repatch every wall and corners. Many seam lines are showing. Ceiling paint is in walls, wall paint on ceiling. You can see all the patching through paint. Several spots are missing paint all together even though he put on 3 coats. Owner had poor subcontractors and due to their poor work skills, he's blaming the customer (us) for being picky. Was told "most of the walls will be covered by your own possessions"
