David Garcia asked us for a 75% deposit for a $2,000 driveway project, was given and cashed the checks, did one day of work and then never returned.

The owner agreed to landscaping work at my residence. He took the 50% initial deposit ($5350) and deposited it on 5/12. After repeatedly pushing back the start date of the work he informed me on 6/15 that he would not be able to do any of the work and would return my deposit by check within 10-15 business days. That is the last I have heard from him despite 4 emails, 2 text messages, and a voice mail. My communications have been very courteous and respectful with my last messaging saying I would need to escalate the issue if I didn't hear back. He has failed to give me even a response to these inquiries or an updated estimate of when my money would be returned. Check Better Business Bureau for similar complaints. I wish I had.

Like the previous reviewer, I gave 20% deposit and David never showed up to do the work. He made repeated excuses and then cancelled the contract. He has made repeated broken promises to return my deposit. Notice that the good reviews here are all made on the same day. Fishy, right? Also fishy, he cashed my check at Ace Cash Express. What reputable company doesn’t have a bank account?

Took deposit for work to be done that week, never showed.

Xeriscape backyard and side of home. | Apr 2017 | Back yard was suffering from bad drainage and was full of weeds. Customer requested we grade backyard and xeriscape with black star gravel and natural stone stepping stones. Also we xeriscape the side of his home where grass also struggled to grow. | $5k | Austin, TX
Planting and drainage. | Mar 2017 | We helped out our customer Marcy to fix her wash out and drainage issues in her Xeriscape. Also she wanted to add some more color to her landscape and a Lacey Oak for the back yard. We dig deep when we plant in builders soil. Because of all the fill rocks and clay its crucial for the success of the new plants that you dig deep and wide and back-fill properly. | $3k | Austin, TX
San Marcos Airport, flagstone steps and palms. | Mar 2017 | Curb appeal project with a California theme for the pilots to remember home and for something native and easy care as well. Drip irrigation installed as well as a natural stone ramp and Mexican river rock edging. A water wise install with palms, esperanza and Texas sage. | $6k | San Marcos, TX
Trace Restaurant and Pool Side at The W Austin (ACL) | Feb 2017 | In preparation of SXSW The W Austin (on Lavaca downtown) home of Austin City Limits, we did a complete redo of the patio area of Trace the restaurant and the pool area. We changed over 30 planters with a topiary succulent themed install. It was a creative and fun project but a challenge with transferring palm trees up elevators and 10 tons of decorative gravels in downtown Austin! | $14k | Austin, TX |
