Very happy w/ Jacqueline's planning and execution! Replaced my aging (dying!) deck/carport, and added a pergola style sunshade so we can enjoy it even in the summer. Easy to work with, presented a realistic budget and completed work on time. Oh - and made sure her workers left my property clean every day before leaving!

Jacqueline at City Living was great to work with. We completely renovated my master bathroom and changed it from a walk-in shower to a large soaking tub with rain shower combo. She really knew her stuff and has a keen eye for detail and design. She helped me pick out some great pieces like my hardware and vanity and marble countertop. She would send me multiple options and went to many different countertop stores with me to find the perfect marble. When I didn’t like my countertop for my vanity, she spent a weekend removing the top by hand so as not to damage the cabinet, and helped my find a custom countertop that fit my preferences. Her attention to detail is impeccable. As a first timer, there were so many details I didn’t expect to have to pick out but she made it so much easier when I was about to be overwhelmed. Throughout the process, she would oversee the work of the trades every day to ensure a high level of quality. The project only took 7 weeks and that’s because my vanity was delayed in shipping as Home Depot shipped to the wrong location. But even with that delay, the project happened so quickly I was surprised. She’s got some great hardworking trades. The result is so wonderful. I take 2 baths a day just because I love it so much. I’m hiring her for my guest bath now too because it looks shabby in comparison.

Lorraine Loop Bathroom Remodel | Sep 2018 | Master bathroom remodel. We love all projects, big and smaller. Bathrooms and kitchens are some of my favorites. This client wanted a nice tub to soak in instead of a stand up shower. She can sip her champagne in style and we stayed in her budget. This client was a dream to work with. | $15k | Austin, TX
555 Hilton Residences, Unit 3021 | Jul 2018 | Full interior remodel and mold remediation. The upstairs penthouse neighbor leaked a few times on them, so we had to go from wood flooring to full tile, remediate all the water damage, full paint throughout, cabinet and built in refinishing, new countertops throughout, new tile in bathrooms and kitchen. New lightning. | $124k | Austin, TX
The Townsend | Jun 2017 | The Townsend is a bar/restaurant/live music venue in the historic Townsend Thompson building. This project was a full remodel, we took this one down to the bare limestone walls. There are unique challenges for a remodel that is both historic and partly subterranean, being 16 feet underground at the back wall, but we got through it all and completed this project in a record 4 months for such an extensive remodel, with all that goes into a live music venue with a restaurant bar! | $620k | Austin, TX
7th Flag Coffee | Jul 2013 | This was a historical house, that I opened up all the walls to create a really usable space for a neighborhood coffee shop. My favorite feature is the cathedral ceiling that used to be in the attic. I based all the design on opening up the space from there, yet having cozy defined areas too. We also wanted a concrete floor on a pier and been foundation... wow wow, thanks to Consolidated Reinforcement, my engineering firm for this project, we were successful; still holding up and looks great! This is a great space. | $138k | Austin, TX
