So, this homeowner was very frustrated that the roofing contractor he had called never would show to look at his house. !st Capital Certified Roofing had previously repaired his neighbors house and gladly recommended us. We were onsite the next day, examined the repairs needed and completed them while the owner was out of town that week. Sometimes finding the right roofing contractor is as close as the guy next door! The frustrated owner gladly referred us to his other neighbor and we completed his repairs while he was vacationing in Europe. We do a lot of work because of lazy contractors.

Previous improperly installed shingles and roof decking were blowing off and the decking was coming up tearing the roof covering. Homeowner asked us to replace the defective shingles and replace the defective decking. In the process we also discovered vents that needed flashing and sealing. And the rusted flashing around her skylight was also replaced.

Insurance adjuster went to this home and said there was "no hail". Homeowner asked for help through her neighborhood Facebook group where an attorney neighbor referred her to us. 1st Capital Certified Roofing inspected the roof and informed the lady that her home did indeed have hail damage and for her to call for a re-inspection. When the second adjuster inspected the roof while I was present the roof was totaled and the homeowner got a new roof even though she had been previously told "no hail". Having the right roofer matters when dealing with insurance companies. Having a Certified roof inspector helps even more.

Home owner was moving and the new buyer had the home inspected. Rotted decking and damaged flashing were noted in the report. The Buyer's Realtor asked for us to inspect the roof where hail damage was discovered. Instead of a patch job, the new owner received a brand new roof with new decking in place of the rotted decking. Additionally, the insurance company paid for the garage doors to be replaced, new siding around the chimney and to have the ac fins combed out. Having a Certified roofer instead of a home inspector saved the new owner form expensive repairs latter.

"Bubba's" house was in the path of a lightning strike when instead it hit his tree that then exploded and fell onto his roof. Bubba wanted a first class roofing company to handle the repairs and even though the insurance adjuster company recommended someone else, Bubba wanted Ben Sutterfield in charge of his roof repairs. After getting the paperwork finished the next day we scheduled his complete roof replacement and Bubba proudly walked his cul-de-sac recommending us to all of his neighbors.

This client had hail damage while he was out of town and was unaware of the damage for several years. When he called his insurance agent, the agent requested he have me go look at the roof first to confirm whether or not the damage would be sufficient enough to file a claim. I met with the adjuster and discussed the findings I had observed. My Hopkins was granted a new roof and he was so excited with the quality of work by the roofing crew, he asked to have his picture made with them.
