Community Chamber of Commerce Expo | Mar 2015 | The local Chamber of Commerce invited us to set up a display at their community expo. We decided to put together a small water feature. We couldn't install a base on the gym floor, or cut the block, but even so, we were very happy with the overall effect. We prepared an estimate so that when people asked "how much would something like this cost?" we could give them a number we can stand behind. A couple of employees brought their daughters to show support and play unicorns in the waterfall. It was a great time! | $2k | Barrington, NH
community enrichment projects | Dec 2014 | The cost on these projects is actually nonexistant, but we were required to enter a value! Our most recent community enrichment project is reclaiming an abandoned local cemetery. It was over run with poison ivy, granite fence posts have toppled, and had 2-3" caliper trees growing in some of the sites. A concerned citizen paid us to work 3 to 4 hours, but we decided to keep going until all of the poison ivy and unwanted trees were gone. In spring of 2015 as a community service project we will continue to keep the vegetation down, and will work to repair the fence and beautify the road frontage. Our other community enrichment projects have included providing the labor to plant the Barrington Bloomers' garden. It is at the junction of rte 125 & 9, and was constructed and is maintained solely by volunteers in the community. We have sponsored little league teams, donated to the PTA, and volunteered our time at Career Day at the ECLC. Being members of the community we service brings us great pride. | $1 | Barrington, NH

forested landscape renovation | Oct 2014 | This was a lovely old landscape with many salvageable features. We stripped the moss from the existing walkways, brick edges, and in the lawn. We aerated and amended the soil, and overseeded the lawn. A new field stone path was installed, crushed stone replenished in a driveway branch and a compacted stone dust surface on a parking area renovated. The final stage was a major soil amendment in the garden beds and extensive plantings to compliment the forest understory landscape. | $6k | Barrington, NH
