Took almost a year longer than quoted to complete repairs; I was consistently put off, pushed back, and ignored. Workers showed up at their leisure (aka the owner's timetable). Prices were ridiculous for the quality of work provided. Work was shoddy (painting, carpeting, etc.) materials were cheap (specifically carpet and concrete). Trash and materials were left on the premises frequently. I felt cheated and manipulated. What we agreed upon was not what he charged me, and he did not complete what he said he would. This is not a contractor I would advise any woman to use (unfortunately it's a good ol boys' world). Make sure to get everything recorded to the penny -- every nail, every square inch of paint, etc. because owner has the memory of a snail. When I went to sell my house, half of his "repairs" did not pass inspection.
