Air Temp Heating & Cooling Inc

I moved into a house about a year ago, and our heating system started using emergency heat, we called air temp and they pumped Freon, the following winter exact same thing, and now again this year. I called Air Temp and Mrs Linda tried to inform me first off that we didn't have a warranty, which we did, 5 years and if her company would have registered the product it would have been for 10 years. However, after calling they send a service man out to "look" at my unit, it needed Freon again..... third year in a row, but guess what....he didn't have freon, so he had to leave and come back with freon and a dye kit. So that's one service call. Next day he comes back pumps freon in and and dye kit, has to leave and come back several days later to check as to where it may be leaking, that 2nd service call. He comes back several days later and finds the leak which is under the house in some kind of coil so he has to order the part. That's service call number 3. Few days later, the part comes in and they come back and fix it. I seen them pull into my apartment, I wasn't aware of them coming because I had changed my number so they couldn't contact me. I call Linda at air temp tell her they are at my house and I need to give them the code to get under the house, she was extremely rude when I asked her to call them to give them my number stating" why do I need to do that" again, to give the code to get under my house. So they ended up fixing my unit, and when he goes to give me the bill I am expected to pay labor. I am suppose to pay $95 an hour, when the first three calls were maybe 20 minutes all together, and Air temp DOES NOT keep products or parts or any kind of equipment to fix your unit. This is how they rip you off. The unit should have been fixed the first time but it wasn't, just covered up with freon, just like the second time. Now that it's on another person dime, then they want to see whats wrong with it making 3 different service calls when they should have had the freon in the truck and a dye kit so they could have figured out the issue the first time...nope! I called Linda and I have never in my life spoke with someone that was so rude! Told me she could tack on more money if I wasn't happy with the bill. Told me that my husband and I have been nothing but issues since we first spoke with her. Not to mention she has an awful reputation for being hateful, even lost business at an apartment complex due to her attitude problem. I absolutely refuse to pay for three hours of service due to her employees not having the supply on hand. I understand in some situation parts need to be ordered, but freon and dye kit??? That how they make there money while under warranty work. I will be contacting Carrier and letting them know of the customer service and how this company is representing their product. She informed me it was damaged from the manufacture....ok, but your selling the product Linda. I also understand this is her brothers visit she had to take over while he is having some medical issues. I feel bad for the guy because she is literally throwing his business under the bus while he is away. I will never do business with this Air Temp ever again. I will let someone else take over my warranty work, I wouldn't even gave a star but I had to! Hands down the worse customer service Linda
