Since 2010 we have held "A" ratings or better with any and every agency we've engaged with; The Better Business Bureau, Angies List, Yelp, Best Pick Reports, etc. As well, we continue to win annual awards for excellent customer service from this same industry/ As a company, we credit that not only to our one of a kind educational sales process, but our on-site practices and follow-up procedures. The many great and continuing testimonials we receive online and some even hand-written and mailed to us, are what tells us we are doing things right. Our commercial business see's the same win-win benefits, as it continues to grow to include such clients as, The Houston Zoo, Rice University, University of Texas, Walgreens Properties, CVS properties, United Space Research Alliance, David Weekly Homes, Motel 6 Properties, The Cities of Houston, La Porte, Clear Lake, West University, Santa Fe, Beaumont, Bellaire TX, Holiday Inn Properties, PODS of Houston, Chevron Phillips Properties, Southwest Oilfield, McDonald's Properties, dozens of Churches, parks, and hospitals... and so many more. We understand that in order for you to entrust us with your home or professional project you must first understand and trust in what we plan to do there- so we thoroughly educate our clients on our 'mud-jacking' process. We first start by assessing from the customer just what 'bothers them', then we survey the troubled area/s, water collection spots, cracked concrete, sinking slabs, garage floors, etc., to identify and clearly communicate the cause/s of the failing concrete. This can include poor drainage and/or grading, inadequate backfill of dirt, poor or failed sprinkler or pipe location and/or installation... or any other of a dozen things. It is a mantra of ours, sales force and technicians alike, to communicate that not correcting and/or maintaining these conditions once our work is complete, will not only reverse the benefits of such, but can also void our warranty; after all, we can only 'warranty' earth if the customer is willing to maintain it, just like they would their air conditioner, pipes, gutters, lawn, trees, etc. It is always our intention to address only the sections that need to be addressed, but nothing less as well, as this will result in a warranty; a situation not preferred by either party. Next, we drill a limited number of 1-1/2 inch wide holes with our carbide/diamond-tipped drills, only through to the bottom surface of the concrete, which ensures properly installed water lines, sprinkler lines, electrical lines, and sewer lines remain untouched. Then we pump a well-churned, easy-flowing, proprietary mix of top-soil, Portland cement powder and hardeners into those holes, under hydraulic pressure, alternating holes to minimize stress and fractures, until the void is filled completely by our 'slurry' and the troubled area is raised and leveled to its originally adjoining pieces. After the concrete has been leveled, water-tested and inspected, our technicians seek to best match the concrete hole filling material with the existing concrete by using the kept concrete dust created while drilling the holes. Over time, the holes from our process (known as 'spots') become less noticeable. Following a thorough cleaning, we inspect the work with the property owner and answer any questions they may have. The results are permanent if maintained, completely green and safe, and guaranteed with a full 1-year warranty, that to date we have honored beyond 100%. Having seen the transformation of their concrete, at about 25% of the cost to otherwise replace it, and completed in just hours versus days, our customers are almost always overly impressed, and that makes it all worth it to Southern Concrete Raising.
