I worked with George and he was great to work with. In particular, I appreciated his responsiveness and willingness to provide detailed explanations for the many questions I had. Also, pricing was very competitive with the other quotes I received. I would recommend working with European Custom Flooring to anyone who is considering any work on hardwood floors. After trying to do it myself, I found that leaving this to the professionals like George was the best option!

George took care of all details and guided us very well through the whole process, he was very knowledgeable of the type of wood (Original from a 1942 house) and gave great advice on the type of finish to use, he delivered outstanding results, we love our refinished floors.

We interviewed six flooring contractors before choosing European Custom Flooring The job entailed about 1800 square feet of flooring that required sanding, staining and refinishing including a staircase with about 75 spindles. George meticulously removed and reinstalled each spindle so that the stairs and hall could be refinished properly. He removed all doors and quarter-round, sanded multiple times, applied a product to absorb the stain better, stained, and applied 3 coats of swedish. He started and finished the job as per his initial commitment. His bid for the project was on the high end but the cost was well worth the investment. It is clear that George takes great pride in his work. The quality of his workmanship is remarkable.

George is very professional and really wants to make sure you are happy from start to finish. We couldn't be happier with the way the floors turned out also, they look great!
