Instead of dealing with several companies, Scanlon's provides the quality work you are looking for all in one business. If my business does not provide the service you are looking for, then I will find out how to do it or assist the customer in finding reputable businesses that can. It is all about helping the customer. "Word of mouth is always the best advertisement." "If a job is to be done, then it is to be done right." For those customers whom have the desire to do a project, yet lack the knowledge and experience, I will gladly work with you, and teach you. Scanlon's Improvement & Repair Service is located in Belton, TX. I strive to treat every customer the way I want to be treated - a straight forward approach and develop good working relationships. Shed Roof Repair - Tree fell on roof | Jan 2014 | A 2' diameter tree had fallen on the shed roof corner. 5 of the rafters had been damaged. When the shed was originally built over 20 years ago, there was no overhang on the gable end walls. Project consisted of removing damaged rafters. Installing end gable studs and siding. Adding 10" overhang to each gable end. Replacement of roof shingles with 25 year 3 tab shingles. Customer will be painting the shed. | $2k | Belton, TX | |
Bathroom Tile repair | Jan 2012 | Customer had to have the old 1972 tub/shower valve replaced. Old Green colored replacement tiles were not available. Customer decided to have 2" x 2" Stone Tiles installed to give it a nice contrast. Contractor used Tile molding to finish the top and outer edges. The Tile molding comes with a squared edge. Contractor used a dremel tool to match the front design to give it a finished look. Color matching was done using Antiques Bronze paint and a pencil. After allowing 48 hours for the adhesive to dry, the Contractor applied Clear sealant. | $450 | Belton, TX | |
Repair Screened in Porch | Jan 2011 | Due to severe water damage the lower portion of the walls and sills needed complete replacement. Pressure treated sills were installed. Siding consisted of Smart Fiber siding (50 yr warranty), replacement of trim boards and sills as required. Painting of repaired surfaces. Repair of both screen doors. Replacement of all screening. Roof was corrugated fiberglass sheets. Pressure washed to remove mold. Replaced Screws with neoprene washers as required. Applied silicone caulking as needed to seal leaks. | $5k | Belton, TX |
