If I could give this guy a negative star I would. This jo was started on 11/27/23 and was to be completed on 12/02/23. I paid half up front the week they started the work and the other half was due at time of completion. The tile was laid and laid in correctly, leaving bathrooms incomplete, toilets not put back in place. There was thin-set all over the walls, tubs and cabinets. They were hollow and grout was already cracking. The LVP were laid in half of the house with many many errors leaving the floors incomplete and needing to be pulled up completely and relaid. He refused to listen to my concerns and request for repairs. He then left the jobsite on 12/02 and did not return. He refused to finish the work correctly and refused to refund any of my deposit. I am now out cost in labor and extra cost in flooring that I will have to replace. He is also refusing to pay his employees, and leaving my home unliveable. If someone recommends this guy RUN the other way. He does not care nor does he back his work or respect the homeowners property. He left trash all over my house and my yard, cutting wood INSIDE my home leaving dust and wood piece on the ground laying wood floor over it. I will tell everyone about how horrible he is not only as a contractor but as an employer and human being.

His estimate was almost double the quotes I got from other contractors, but he convinced me that his work would be done right and done quickly and professionally. Most of the work we done OK, but the job ended up taking an extra day longer than expected....and they ended up finishing late on a Friday (in a big rush to make sure they wouldn't have to come back another day) while I was having guests arrive for dinner. I didn't have time to do a walk-through of the work, but I really regret not taking the time. I also didn't have time to double-check the receipts for materials that he had me reimburse him for. Later, I discovered several pieces of unfinished and poor-quality work and I asked him to come back to fix/finish the work....and I also pointed out over $100 worth of materials AND FOOD that he had charged me for that be shouldn't have....for 3 months, Mario kept promising to come back to fix the mistakes and reimburse me the over-charged money, but after 3 months of not showing up he finally just stopped replying to my emails. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND SAVE YOURSELF SOME MONEY.....DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH M & Y. There are a ton of other similar complaints I found online from other dissatisfied customers that look like they have been burned just like I was. Like

I hired this contractor to paint the inside of my home as well as put down laminate floor into my bedroom, convert a window into a French door, refresh my fire place, paint my cabinets attach handles and new hinges as well as backsplash. The company has caused damage in my home. Drilled several holes into my cabinets, the cabinets were not sanded down correctly and the paint is coming off, the handles were not straight initially and it was visible, the crew took them down and tried to straighten them causing more damage to my cabinets because measuring devices were not used. My doors were initially painted very poorly showing every brush stroke and uneven paint. I had to ask them to fix it several times and every-time they did they would just cake more paint onto my doors, the paint is now peeling off. The laminate floors are coming out as they were not properly installed. The French doors are not sealed and rain is coming into my home. The crew did not use tape to paint so it looks very sloppy, my furniture or floors were never covered while painting or sanding I have painting on my leather couch brand new entertainment center and my sound-bars are filled with sand dust. My husband and I were very patient as per contract we paid half upfront 4211 dollars, and the owner drew money every Thursday. We have paid him more than $9000 so far. I went on a business trip the week of 09/16-09/20 and discovered all the damage in my kitchen when i got back. His workers would text me about things that i have purchased and came up missing. I finally asked the owner if we could talk on Friday 09/20/2019. He already knew about all the damage as his employer told me that the owner was "tripping". The owner has given me the run around and has avoided me until today. When he came into my home one of his guys was attempting to fix my floors, the guy told me: "They did not put enough padding under here that’s why its uneven, ". The owner and I spoke in my kitchen and i attempted to show him all the damage and suggested he replaces my cabinets or returns half of the money i already paid him. However, the owner stormed off and ordered the guy to leave my home leaving the floor undone and the baseboards loose. I have texted him and told him that we need to reach a compromise, however so far he has offered me &1000 and stated the paint on my furniture was old paint. I advised him that I have security cameras and it is visible that my furniture was not covered at any time, however he states no. They also broke a large mirrow from my bathroom while moving it, they were very careless with my property inside and out. Please this is not even half of it just pay a little more and hire someone better. It is not worth the headache and in all reality I spend way more money than I wanted to for very poor quality work to say the least.
