Larry Oleson founded OCI after spending 14 years working in the "production builder" environment in Bloomington/Normal. He bases his business on the idea that quality and custom should be more than just words. Larry strives to give his clients what they deserve; a home that he and the owners will be proud to call theirs. OCI offers quality assurance with the promise of a job done right the first time. Unlike many of today's "builders" you won't find Larry Oleson sitting behind an office desk, he will be on site each day, working for you. As the owner, being on site daily allows Larry to work with you, the customer, to encourage new ideas and improve on existing ones. This partnership allows us to personally oversee progress, and quickly deal with any issues, should they arise. Understanding that a cost effective home with a quick turn-around time is critical to a business' bottom line, OCI strives to provide a better product. Our goal is to bring back the meaning of "custom and distinctive" into the construction industry. Larry was born and raised in Central Illinois on a family farm where hard work and long hours were expected. He attended Parkland College in Champaign and Illinois State University in Normal and regularly attends continuing education courses and trade shows to keep up to date with new codes, products and practices. Larry resides in Bloomington, Illinois with his wife, Lynn, who is also the office manager. Larry also has two children, Samantha and Garrett. Larry has a natural talent for great customer service and pays extreme attention to detail. This ability helps homeowners feel more comfortable with every step of their project. His passion for building helps him in overseeing every new construction, redesign or remodel, making sure that all projects run smoothly from start to finish. Larry started out on a somewhat small job for us opening up a wall between the kitchen and living room. We were so impressed with his work we decided to go a little further and a little further until finally we ended up almost redoing the entire house. I can't say enough about the remodeling job he did for us. He's courteous, conscientious, dependable, and trustworthy. The quality of his work went way beyond our expectations.
