Don't buy a Dave Richards home and if you do make sure you get a real warranty company and not K2 Even though I could list several reasons that DRHi deserves 1 star I will focus on the one that took me far enough over the edge to write a review. We have lived in our new home for 10 months and our DRIVEWAY is crumbling to pieces. We reached out through email back in January right after the first snow melted to DRHi about it and the response was that concrete is not warrantied. We still submitted a ticket with the warranty company with no response. We attempted to email and call with no return correspondence and finally we see the ticket was closed with a note about chemical agents. We don't salt our driveway. This is the 3rd home we have purchased in the past 20 years and the first time a driveway began deteriorating at all let alone in under a year. There are multiple other driveways on my street alone with the same issue all new build. The only satisfaction I get from the condition of our driveways is the awful curb appeal will dissuade future home buyers to sign without better warranties. Perhaps I will help advertise and put a sign that says built by Dave Richards at the end of my driveway with an arrow pointing at it for them.

I have had a horrible experience with my new build. There has been an ongoing list of things in this house that are not correct. The punch list never got finished and I am in a home that I feel is falling apart. I have been here less than a year and the 1st day of moving in was a nightmare. The entire house was dirty and it took me days to clean it myself. Along with pee on my new toilet not from me. AWESOME! I live in Ryan Meadows and I am absolutely not happy with a handful of things. I am one out of at least 6 homes that are furious with the outcome of their homes. I am sure there are more but I have not personally spoken with them. I have some pictures of the home on things I am unhappy about. I am very upset at the point the Bio says good quality homes. I think that is a huge joke. I have never seen such poor work. Who paints the inside of a home after everything is put in? To get paint on the carpet and cabinets in every room I suppose. I am paying a pretty penny to live in a house that should be worth $100,000 less than I paid with this quality. My contract stated I would get a couple of things I did not get also. The list of things are never ending. Not Happy!! Oh and yes I have called, texted and left voicemails directly to Dave. I have evidence to back this up.
