Limback Tree Care

Matt Limback is a nice guy and the take down process went quickly and everything looked professional. Ufortunatly trying to get him to show up, follow through and doing what he says was next to impossible. First meeting date: 15 August 2020, Job date: October 26-29, 2020, last contact: May 2021 • Review breakdown: Matt is a good guy and informative - 4.5 stars , Reliability - 0 stars, Communication - 1 star, Finishing the job - 1 star • After Matt visited the site 3 times he agreed to take the job and scheduled us for the next week. At the end of that week he never showed and never called to reschedule. I had to call many times until I got a hold of him to try and reschedule. The “no call/ no show” deal happened 2 more times. When I finally got a hold of him again I had to guilt him into following through with the job. I did not want to start all over again with another company. • When all was done there were 4 truckloads of premium Douglass Fir and Matt said he would have trucked to and export lumber company that paid top dollar and a check for the timber would be made out to me from the mill. The trees remained stacked up in front of my neighbor’s house for a week with 2 “no call / no show” promised dates to have them removed. (according to Matt it was raining and the trucker was afraid of getting stuck in dirt) When logs were finally taken they were trucked to Manke Lumber mill who pays 10-15% less than the export company. Net loss of at least $750 • Matt told me he would return to repair the broken fence that a falling branch had fallen through and remove the branches sticking out of the yard that had been impaled when the trees fell. Matt never returned to complete these details. • Matt left 1.5ft - 3 foot tall stumps and he returned latter to quote on grinding all the stumps down. We agreed on a price and he said he would start as soon as it stopped raining. When the weather cleared this spring I called again, several times, to schedule. When we finally connected and I he committed he again missed that date. I tried 1 more time Again “no call / No show”. I’m done with Matt.
