Attic insulation and removal after damage from ice dams

Aug 2015

After suffering severe roof damage from ice dams caused during a harsh Massachusetts winter, N6 Energy was called in to repair the damage in the attic and take measures to prevent ice dams from forming again in the future. After proper analysis we removed all the old, wet insulation, replaced it with new, air sealed the attic, and put in the necessary ventilation features to stop ice dams from forming again. All-in-all the customer was very happy with the result and confident that there would be no future problems.
