Do not deal with Baystate Express! I had the unfortunate experience of having my piano moved by them and damaged during transit by John Harden. He took responsibility for it when I pointed it out during delivery, and we’ve been emailing back and forth for 4 months trying to get an insurance claim. I got two local quotes to get the repairs done but they only offered to cover half of it through Baystate’s insurance. I didn’t agree with it at first but gave up on trying to get full compensation after waiting 2 months, so I accepted their insurance settlement. However, after confirming my address twice through Howard at BayState Express, they said they sent the check twice, I still have not received any payment. They won’t respond to emails or calls, and I have left multiple VMs. They won’t even confirm with a tracking number that they’ve sent the check. At this point I told them I would follow up with an insurance fraud complaint and they have not done anything. I would give them the benefit of the doubt but they take forever to respond to emails or pick up calls. They won’t confirm with a tracking number they’ve sent the check. They make up excuses just to stall and waste my time. AVOID doing business with these people!
