Ever since William and Dorothea Mortimer started Winstal out of their home in Braintree, the company has provided the South Shore with high quality home improvements and a personal touch. Winstal prides ourselves on providing the "little extras" that separate us from other home improvement contractors, from oiling a squeaky door, replacing a broken doorbell light, or just being courteous houseguests. Bill remembers, "I was having work done on my home once, and the contractors didn't clean up after themselves. They left me with a huge mess. I vowed that would never happen with my business." As Bill and Dorothea brought up their children (Billy, Craig, Regina and Nancy), they all played a part in the longevity of the company. Bill and Dorothea ran the business, Billy and Craig were the home improvement contractors, and Regina and Nancy provided administrative work. Later on, Billy's son (another Bill) took on marketing for the business, and daughter Michelle also joined as an installer. Today, Billy and Regina work together to complete residential home improvement projects all over the East Coast of Massachusetts, from Peabody to Provincetown.
