After working for Guardian Restoration in Bozeman for nine years, Jim & Julie Conway ventured out on their own in 1989, opening their services to Butte, and establishing Fine Fabric Care. At first, they offered only cleaning services for furniture, draperies, and car interiors. Within a short time, however, they expanded their services to include carpet cleaning, air duct cleaning, water damage mitigation, fire damage mitigation, trauma scene assistance, and many other specialty cleaning systems throughout most of southwestern Montana. Today, Fine Fabric Care remains a locally owned business. And as ever, our goal is to provide our clients with the very finest in cleaning and restoration services. It is this drive for perfection that has kept us a local favorite for over 25 years. We work hard to stand by our clients and provide high quality, dependable service and advice for the care and maintenance of all home furnishings. To this end, we make every effort to remain up-to-date on all the latest cleaning and restoration technologies and methods available to our industry. When disasters happen - and they will - we know that our clients need to get their home or business on the road to recovery as quickly as possible. We are willing and able to spend the long hours and hard work required to ensure our clients are taken care of, especially when clients are dealing with great loss. We always strive to be people first. A business second.

⚠️ Do NOT recommend, at all! ⚠️ ⚠️ Do NOT trust this slimey company with your home, or your money ⚠️ I had a sewer backup into my basement, and called Fine Fabric care to do the demo work. They did an acceptable, albeit sub-par job. Here is the BIG problem where they completely screwed me in an already bad situation... I received an ambiguous statement from them indicating a balance. It did not specify that it was a bill, simply a balance. Since they had my insurance claim number (the city was responsible for the backup, so its their insurance) and there WAS NO INDICATION that it was a bill, I figured insurance had handled it... I received a call not long ago regarding the unpaid balance. No big deal, I informed them that'd I'd work with the insurance to ensure they get paid as I very firmly believe a company should absolutely be paid for services rendered. The woman I spoke to said that was fine, understandable, and that I would have time to do that. ...enter today... I received a DEBT COLLECTION NOTICE!!! That's right! No further phone calls or communication from Fine Fabric Care WHATSOEVER and they reported me to collections! They feel entitled to destroy my credit for a bill I WAS happy to pay! For no reason at all! I have been experiencing some health complications and have been dealing with this matter as promptly as I can... I'm 38 years old, have required a couple of heart surgeries and have a pacemaker... that consumes much of my time unfortunately. As of late, I have been in and out of the hospital repeatedly... I am also a contractor myself... despite all this, it has been a priority to ensure Fine Fabric Care would be paid... it's not even my money, it's an insurance claim! Why would I withhold it?!?!?! What kind of company feels entitled to do this to somone who is already experiencing tough times but genuinely plans and has the means to pay!?!? A very bad one if you ask me. As you can see in my other picture, it's quite possible that the debt has even been paid, but Fine Fabric Care is double dipping! As they are unable to keep track of their own accounting. I have the means to pay, but was waiting for insurance. Had I of known they'd do this to me I would have paid up-front and waited for insurance reimbursement, even though that's not normal procedure for these things. Instead, they did this to me and never gave me the option or a chance to pay. It is also very possible they HAVE ACTUALLY ALREADY BEEN PAID! Which you can see evident in the letter they sent me!!! I believe they are actually trying to double charge me at this point... probably one bill for me, one bill for the liable insurance... why else would they get the claim number and 'supposedly' do nothing with it. 🤬 DON'T LET FINE FABRIC "CARE" DESTROY YOUR CREDIT AND ROB YOU BLIND!!! THEY ARE A BAD-ACTOR WITHIN BUTTE'S CONTRACTOR COMMUNITY. They will lie to you, say you have time, then, WITHOUT FURTHER WARNING, report you to a debt collector. And a very bad, aggressive debt collector at that. I offered them the opportunity to correct their mistake and receive payment immediately, with interest, but they refused. I could have worked out the rest later, even suing to recover the money, if they did indeed double charge me, as i suspect... but they'd rather see you suffer. They also felt entitled to tack on over $3900 in fees! on an original cost of a little over $2400 for a total of nearly $6300!!! Nearly TRIPLE the cost! Trust this bad actor at your own peril, make one mistake and they will screw you without warning! Hell, make NO mistakes and they just might screw you anyways ⚠️
