LaCourt Realty is not great. I lease an apartment under them and they never fixed our cold water after months and months of telling them it did not work. They told us they were getting plumbers to check it out, but never directly answered what was wrong with it when asked. Over half of our building does not have cold water and we have asked them to fix it and they never did. I do not recommend leasing from them.

I cannot emphasize this enough: RUN. Choose literally any other landlord that is not LaCourt. They are predatory, have constant rent hikes, hidden clauses in contracts, unresponsive and rude management, it's owned by a slumlord. There are countless terrible experiences by LaCourt tenants, you don't want to be one of them. This is just a PSA.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. LaCourt has repeatedly gotten involved in a personal conflict I had with my former roommate, taking extensive efforts to subvert my ability to sublet the apartment. They will no longer even respond to my emails to sort out the issue. I have now paid thousands of dollars for an apartment I no longer live in, they will not break the lease, they will not allow me to sublet unless it meets their ever shifting criteria, and they will not allow for a breaking of lease due to a pandemic. They have been overcharging for a newly renovated (and still shockingly inadequate) apartment. I have never been so disappointed by any business's customer service, ever. You are not a human to these people. You are a paycheck.
