I highly caution anyone from using Top Local Maids (TLM). My experience is that they are running a scam. I had been regularly using a cleaning service and was looking to make a change. In contracting with TLM they insisted that the first clean needed to be a deep clean (for $250.00) even though I stated that the house had been regularly maintained. They agreed to drop the price to $220.00. What they told me verbally on the phone re: what I could expect and what they sent me in writing was different. I as verbally told that since it was a deep clean there would be a minimum of 2 cleaners. They sent one. In scheduling on Nov. 13th, I’d stated that I needed to schedule the house clean by Nov. 20th at the latest as I was going to be leaving for out of town on Nov. 21st. At no time, either verbally or in writing or on their website, did they inform me that if the cleaning was not done to my satisfaction that there was only a 24 hour window in which they would return to make any corrections. What the website does state (and I quote), “Unlike any other business in this industry, at Top Local Maids, we take a different approach: If you’re not happy with the service, we’ll redo it until we get it right – 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee. Sure, some may take advantage of that to get a free redo, but we believe that putting a smile on our Customers faces, is the key to build a long term sustainable relationship.” The website also states, “100% Satisfaction Guarantee. We'll always make sure Customers are 100% Happy with the Service or we'll redo the work FREE of Charge. No Questions Asked!” In speaking to the owner’s spouse on the phone, she insinuated that I was looking for a free clean. I found this insulting. In first contacting the company with my concerns (on Nov. 21st), I stated that I did not want them to clean the whole house again, I only wanted them to clean the areas they missed. The owner’s spouse kept insisting that I missed the 24 hour window, which as I previously stated, was never informed of until after the fact. She also accused me of asking the house cleaner to complete additional tasks that weren’t covered by the deep clean. I will guess that since English wasn’t the first language of the cleaner they sent, she must have misunderstood. I never asked for any additional work to be done. The behavior of the person I spoke with from TLM was rude, interrupting and lacked listening skills. The only recourse she offered was to give me a discount on my next cleaning. I asked to speak with the owner and was told that he was unavailable until after the holidays. When I later sent her a copy of the website claims about 100% satisfaction guarantee, she did not respond. This does not seem like good business practice. They insisted on charging me for a deep clean which I didn’t need in the first place, and then when the work fell short, they have failed to live up to their business promises as stated on their website. The website also lists the specifics of what is included in a basic clean, yet many of those items failed to be completed on my supposed ‘deep clean.’ I am not one to generally write reviews, much less a negative review, and have always taken the highly negative reviews written by others with a grain of salt. I have learned the hard way to pay attention to those negative reviews. And by the way, I should have trusted my gut when the housecleaner arrived (for a deep clean) with inadequate equipment and supplies – she did not have a mop or a vacuum cleaner, only an electric carpet sweeper. I have been scammed...charged $220 for what was maybe a $100 light clean. Do not use Top Local Maids. Even their name is a misnomer. They are not local. They sent me a housecleaner that came from 2.5 hours away from my home. No wonder she didn’t arrive on time.

I do not recommend this company. Never on time and a very poor cleaning.

The cleaners with Top Local Maids did an outstanding job as always! They went above and beyond and even made the beds! I'd highly recommend them to anyone.
