Charlotte Landscaping Services LLC

I hired Charlotte Landscaping Services to perform basic mowing and edging services at my home. On the first visit, there was an issue with them cutting my lawn too short and leaving clumps of cut grass on my front yard. I called them directly and was rushed off of the phone and told to email them a list of my concerns so that they could add them to the "notes" for my yard. In my email, I listed my concerns and also noted that I wanted them to skip service for the following month to give my grass a chance to grow back. They completely ignored this, and in the process of visiting my home the 2nd time, when they were supposed to skip the service, they cause damage to the vinyl siding all around my house. There were multiple areas that had holes and cracks in the siding. I went out, took pictures, and contacted them immediately to let them know. Upon speaking with them, they initially denied that they caused any of the damage. My home is a little over a year old - newly built. I walk around my house and yard almost daily and am very observant. This was definitely damage caused by them. In the same conversation, the person with whom I was speaking tried on several occasions to try to "over-talk" me, and cut me off. I indicated that I no longer wanted them to mow/edge my yard until after my damage was fixed, and then I would consider if I wanted to continue using them as a service. I was told that they were going to continue to charge me for service and if I terminated the agreement, that I would be responsible for the termination fee and they would not be 'liable' to pay for any repairs. I've left out a few other worrisome details, but for the sake of time, in the end, they did pay for the repairs, rather promptly, and I paid their early termination fee so that I could be rid of them. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY.
