We bought a home with a wine cellar and after a few years we wanted to upgrade the area. The current racks were getting older and we didn't trust them to support our wine collection. After a few different bids, we ended up going with Wine Cellar Innovations. We were extremely pleased with Trish Stokes, our consultant. She created a design for us, walked us through our different wood options, and suffered through our multiple changes. The installation went smoothly and we love our new wine room. Great customer service and a great product!

They said, "We purchased three redwood wine racks from Wine Cellar Innovations in Cincinnati, Ohio and we are very pleased with them. The kits were delivered on time and easy to assemble as long as you have a pneumatic brad nailer. We especially like the 15 degree 8 wine bootle display shelf that we highlighted with rope lighting. Wine Cellar Spotlight in Tour of Tacoma | Aug 2012 | But apart from praising the quality and workmanship of the products and other accessories, we were pleased to the point of shyness (yes, we blushed at such high praise, haha!) at how the client was so enthusiastic about the kind of services WCI delivered: First off, Mike Martin did an excellent job of not only installing the materials provided, but also in prepping the room for the cellar. He was also very patient with us as we had some delays (wiring, flooring, etc.). I wouldnt hesitate in recommending him to anyone. Plus, the client tipped us off that their beautiful home might get featured on next years Tour of Remodeled Homes in the Tacoma area. That means their wine cellar will definitely be highlighted as well. So were crossing our fingers and hoping that itll all work out! We are VERY pleased with the project and how it turned out." Dont you think this wine cellar has a really authentic vintage feel to it? We attribute this to unstained Premium Redwood in all its natural reddish-gold glory. Plus, youll notice from the first two images above that Vintage Wine Barrel Tabletops were also used to complete the look. Top everything off with the custom wine cellar LED lighting package and this is what you get! Such sight for sore eyes, eh? The client worried from the start of the project that the space allotted for the wine room wasnt exactly as square as theyd wanted it to be. Also, there was also a bit of a problem with the plumbing sticking out and all. But to their complete satisfaction and delight, everything came together perfectly. Thanks to the flexibility of the Gold Series, custom wine racks were installed to maximize the uneven space without any problem at all. Plus, the plumbing was hidden quite well while still leaving clean-out access! The clients for this projected were actually in the process of remodeling their entire home. Along with that, they decided to have a residential wine cellar built to store their growing collection. One of WCIs top design specialists worked with them right up until the installation stage of the project. Heres a close-up shot of the gorgeous wine racking system. The Gold Series was used with Premium Redwood as the wood option. What we really love about the finished product is how there is so much versatility in the wine racks. You can see individual and bulk bottle wine racks, shelves, and displays all coming together in a really neat and polished assembly. The entire racking system can hold over 700 standard-sized bottles as well as champagne, magnums, and other larger-format ones in the custom displays. Plus, theres plenty enough space for loos bottles, wine bins, and boxes. Were pretty stoked ourselves at how everything came together perfectly, with the wine bottles, boxes, and bins stored together in a neat and orderly fashion. Note that the Gold Series custom wine racks were utilized to turn out this versatile wine racking assembly. Wed also like to point out that at the outset, there was some trepidation concerning the allotted space for the cellar. The room wasnt as square as the clients wanted it to be and bits of plumbing were sticking out. Nonetheless, the Gold Series exceeded their expectations as uneven corners, nooks, and crannies were spanned, resulting in a smooth transition from floor to ceiling and one rack to another. So here you can see how everything came together, with the individual bottle wine racks cradling each bottle securely and comfortably. The larger-format bottles are also nestled snugly in the wine displays. These racks actually come in single and double deep options and you can see from the closer shots that each bottle is cradled on two individual rails with beveled ends. This is a WCI trademark for most of our wine racking products which allows one to remove or replace a bottle without tearing off the labels. | $26k | University Place, WA | |
