Darren Smith contacted our company through social media to subcontract us on a stone countertop fabrication and installation that he needed. He reached out with a huge story about how he needed help to get the job done fast and at a very low cost because his client had gone through a bad experience with another contractor. We were very willing to help his situation and delivered the job on time, and according to everything that he wanted us to do. Its been a couple months already since the job was completed and he never payed us for the job that we completed. We have reached out to him several times and he claims that the job wasn't done correctly and when we asked for pictures or options to have it fixed he disappears and doesn't answers or get proof of what he is saying. Same as the rest of the reviews here, please stay AWAY from Darren Smith and his company. Not a person to trust, no quality job delivered.

Perfect Flooring are professional flooring and tile installers. They do the job with integrity,responsibility, and in a timely manner. I highly recommend them.

I wish I could do 0 stars! Our experience with Darren was nothing short of horrible. He gave us a bid and a start date only to be delayed multiple times. When he did show up he was unprepared and late. He sent me looking for a solution to reflooring the stairs that he included in the bid at an additional $800 because as he said "they were difficult". When he came to work he acted like he had no idea what to do with the stairs and sent me looking for an answer for something he had bid extra to do!!! He broke spindles on our stairway, left garbage and boards with nails facing up all over the carpet in our living room. When I asked him questions he was extremely impatient and very unprofessional. He had broken a stair tread and attempted to nail up the broken pieces on the stairway instead of replacing it. By this point we were so frustrated we fired him from the job. The only reason we held out that long is because he was someone we considered a friend and that only makes this even worse. He accepted a cash down payment from us that when we asked for a refund he refused and said it had already been spent and we had no option but to let him work off the payment we had given him. ABSOLUTELY NOT! I was not about to let him do anymore damage than he had already done. In the end we felt him to be a con man and a cheat. I wouldn't want anyone to have to endure such a terrible experience. We actually lost the sale of our home due to his negligence!

Horrible experience with Darren. Claims to be a pro but very inexperienced and unprofessional. Shower in the bathroom he did created water damage to our basement and claimed he would fix it. Now ironically cant get a hold of him. Already has complaints on BBB and several other complaints from other clients. Please stay away!
