Homeowner Beware: I was foolish in that I did not turn sites like Topix, Yelp, etc. to read reviews on this plumbing company before I hired them. Big mistake. I was not at home the day they came to do the work. I never received a call while they were there giving me an estimate for the job. I asked them to unclog one sink, hook up 4 faucets and 2 bathtubs (a handyman already installed most of the hardware). I received a bill for nearly $1,700 for ONE DAY's work. I was charged $900 for "jackhammer." I did not know they were going to use a jackhammer in my house! (I later learned one can rent a jackhammer for $100 a day!) And, to make matters worse, Curly's NEVER COMPLETED THE JOB! My bathroom faucets and bathtub faucets do not work! The owner, Terry Mangrum refused to give me a written estimate to complete the job. I contacted an attorney who advised me to go ahead and pay bill on work never finished...because they sent me an email threatening to file a lien!
