DP Contracting updated various areas of our house, including updating granite/quartz selections, installing a dishwasher where there had not been one before, and expanding a half bath to a full bath. The subcontractors were respectful and cleaned up every day. Dennis and his team were very helpful with making the best decisions for both our style and our budget. We highly recommend DP Contracting.

We love our new kitchen/laundry room! At the end of last year, Dennis contracted with us to do a full kitchen/laundry room remodel of our historic home, which was built in the 1890s. It was a big complex job with major changes to the original kitchen/mudroom. The last time the kitchen had been remodeled was before we purchased the house in 1981 and the old laundry room was still in the basemen!. Although some appliances had been replaced and the wood floor refinished at least once, we had not changed the footprint during the decades that followed our purchase. We chose DP Contracting because they had a detailed estimate, plan and timeline which they committed to. We still have the thick notebook that their team worked from every day. As with any project, there were setbacks. Some of the few hiccups could have been anticipated. However, Dennis’s team worked each time to solve the problems, and rearranged their schedule - managing to stay within a few weeks of the original completion estimate (about 3 months). The team was always professional, flexible, neat and reliable. Seldom was there a day when someone was not working. As a bonus, Dennis cooks a mean brisket! We are pleased to recommend Dennis Pless Contracting.

We live in the 1960 ranch house our parents built. The pine cabinets were getting sad looking and we needed some new appliances. DP Contracting to the rescue! Their kitchen planner listened to our ideas and designed a beautiful kitchen. D P's sub contractors all did a great job and were good to work with. We were given a day-by-day schedule with the job to be finished in 5 1/2 weeks---and it was! We love our new antique white cabinets, the roll out shelves on the lower cabinets and in the floor to ceiling cabinets, the lazy Susan, the large island, flooring and the new appliances. In this remodel, our washer and dryer were relocated to a bathroom. This not only freed up space in the kitchen, but also moved the noise of these appliances to another part of the house. DP Contracting is a great company for kitchen remodels. We recommend them without reservation to anyone considering a kitchen or bathroom remodel.

Goodbye to the Sixties! | Nov 2018 | The kitchen in this home had not been updated since it was built in 1963 and was in desperate need of change to both the aesthetics and functionality. To make the confined space seem larger it required that the door be moved. Our masons did a spectacular job on repairing the brick where the door originally was. A huge island and flooring that ran from the kitchen into the family room gave the space a feeling of cohesion and openness. The laundry room that was separated from the kitchen by a pocket door, did not utilize the footprint of the room to its full potential, so our talented space planner included it with the redesign of the kitchen to give the homeowner not only a more spacious feeling laundry room, but a wonderful pantry area with lots of storage. The beautiful new back door deserved a nicer entrance so we added a maintenance free deck, with wide impressive steps that were topped off with a handsome new metal railing. | $129k | Concord, NC

From wasted space to Taj Mahal | Mar 2017 | Our homeowners had a massive bathroom that was horribly laid out, leaving lots of wasted space and an awkward layout. Not only were we able to transform their space into a fabulous space with amenities such as a heated dry area for their extra large shower, but were also able to incorporate a fabulous laundry room into their master bath suite that provided them with tons of storage and even a folding area. | $75k | Huntersville, NC
Builder Grade transformation | Dec 2016 | A nice but very boring builder grade bathroom was transformed into a spa like retreat that the homeowner can be proud of. The original bathroom lacked space for storage and display. With ingenuity and custom cabinets we were able to give this homeowner more than she had hoped for! | $59k | Concord, NC
