Ivan from here is the biggest thief ..no one should hire him ..beware of him ,he took my deposit and ran away without doing any work ..am looking for more details to file a police report

I hired Ivan to do kitchen backsplash, fireplace stone and a bathroom remodel. In the beginning he would show up late, but work and do good work, albeit slow but then he would disappear for two weeks, wasnt honest about his other jobs he was juggling, would come work a few hours, leave, then go a week and not show up again. We discussed the unprofessionalism and I said its fine we can work with you but we need to get everything done by x date before my floor installation begins, he promised he would meet the deadline. After a few drug out weeks he finally finishes the fireplace and then moves on to the bathroom, and promises that it will be done on time. He did good for about a week, then goes MIA for a week, constantly says he's coming and doesn't show up. He complained about his partners shortcomings and how he had to take care of some things. Then after 8 days MIA he says hes coming to finish this weekend (Sat,Sun). On friday he texts and asks can I come today, I said sure. He says Ill be there in 30 min, doesnt show up. then called hours later and said he did show up and I wasnt there, hmmmm. So then he comes back and says im going to work late and get the job done today. I said i rearranged by schedule for you again, lets please just get this done. Then he comes and works for a few hours and literally packed up his tools and snuck out without saying a word!!!! No text, no call, nothing! The following day I text him and say hey can we talk, and no response. Tile setters are a dime a dozen. Ivan is unprofessional with his time, he cannot manage his schedule or his business well and he has poor time management skills. My husband and I gave him so many outs too, we said if you cant do the job thats fine just let us know. Hire at your own risk, I would strong advise against it. My husband and I tried to be flexible and accommodating but in the end he just bailed. Pretty sad. Anyway, apparently this is not the first job he's walked out on, my fault for not reading all the reviews beforehand. Do yourself a favor and don't hire this company unless you feel like a dealing with someone like this.

Jose is lovely to work with. He carefully and thoroughly evaluated the garage wall fix we needed. His partner, Rene tried to talk us into doing a lot more than we really needed. When we said we only wanted to do the fix and repair to the wall, Jose said it would be no problem. He even touched up a couple more small things. The job is perfect. Looks like new.

Can’t complain about Ivan on time efficient work a friendly person.and The pricing that depends on how you want it to look.Ive given him a picture on how I want it to look like and got say it looks way better than the picture.
