Hansen Property Management Inc

In my opinion as a real estate investor this company and her ownership does not deal in honesty with her clients there has been nothing but problem dealing with the collecting the rent short and late and she has created a lot of stress ultimately her service was terminated.

Hansen Property Management was very short and rude from the beginning, starting with our first interaction with them. We shouldn't have even went forward with them based off of the initial greeting but we really liked the house from what we saw. We had one walk through / viewing and the home looked fine so we moved forward with signing the lease. To our surprise, we were moved into a home where they didn't disclose the fact that the home had a roach infestation, which we discovered the first night in the home. The day we received the keys to the home we spotted a few roaches that were not seen when we first viewed the home. At first the management refused to send out an exterminator so we purchased $150 worth of supplies to fix what we could. We had to move our things in that night because we already had the moving rental truck loaded. After killing over 40 roaches that night and not staying in the home because we were so grossed out. We decided that we wanted to reverse the lease due to this issue. They were not going to let us out of the lease until they saw that we had documented everything and had tons of pictures and videos of the infestation and roach feces. We were reimbursed for the initial fees paid (security deposit, first and last months rent, application fee, ect...). Katherine the owner of the property management company said that she had no idea of the infestation and that it isn't her fault. That it isn't her fault for our lost wages due to me having to call in from work to fix this problem. To find somewhere else to live so that we won't become homeless with only 8 days before our previous lease is up. That it isn't her fault for the constant truck rental to move our things back and forth. That it isn't her fault for us having to pay for a storage to put our things in until we find a place, and also having to treat our things again before we move them into the new home. She did not accept any responsibility and had no remorse for our time and money. At the end she argued with us very unprofessionally and screamed take me to court. Overall this company is very unprofessional and I am not sure how they are still in business.
