Hildebrant's Plumbing Repair

Hired Hildebrant to locate and fix a leak upstairs (evidence was water damage to ceiling below). They were successful in performing the repair, but the holes that they cut in the wall and ceiling to isolate the problem were arguably larger than they needed to be, but I'm not the leak repair pro here, so fine, walls and ceilings can be repaired. Here's the kicker, though: they had shoe covers which they DID NOT WEAR, despite it having rained constantly for several days up to this repair. They tracked mud into my home, which is, frankly, pretty stupid and avoidable. What's worse is that they were fine with moving a bookshelf while locating the leak, but not with moving my daughter's white bunk bed - they crawled across the top of that instead of moving it (did I mention muddy shoes already?) The shoe covers ultimately went on after I said, "Hey, do you guys have shoe covers, since it's raining and muddy out there?" Finally, I was also told that they'd call when they were an hour out, but the call that I received was from my wife saying that they'd arrived already and begun working. In retrospect I should have made them wait until I got home, because while I might hire them again, they apparently need to be babysat during the work.
