Big A roofing

Owner, Allen Stanko, is a con man. Will take your money and run. Over 32 arrests, with the latest in Hoover this year for Home Repair Fraud. WAFF-48 TV also did a piece on him regarding his fraud. He has been arrested in multiple states for fraud, assault, theft, etc. ‘Donny’ and ‘Amanda’s” reviews are fake. Notice both were written on the same day. Allen Stanko is not only a bad con man, but an idiot as well. See Deanna B’s link below. She was screwed over the same as me.

The owner misrepresented his identity as Allen Stanley. With some research, I found his name is Allen Stanko with a history of home repair fraud and theft. He had me write the checks to his wife Connie Stanley so that his identity wouldn't be exposed. I made a deal with him for a house remodel. He promised he had all these big crews I would be so impressed with. His one crew of 4 people showed up. By the 2nd week, that crew was down to 1 person and had to work alone. Eventually, 2 more people were brought in, one of them only lasted a week. Half of my house is unlivable now. There is not 1 project that has been finished. I had to live with a 4x3 foot Big A hole in my master bathroom floor for 2 weeks. I had casually mentioned to Allen in a couple years I will have to replace my back porch screen. When his men were painting they ripped off all the lattice and screening of my porch, and just left the mess. They are big on destruction, not so big on the construction. Most of the work is subpar and will have to be done again. They only show up for a few hours a day - if they show up. They don't have proper tools. They are EXTREMELY unorganized and unprofessional. And Allen is always, always asking for more money. He will even try to rope you into a house flipping scheme for tax-free money. Do not use or trust Big A Roofing, or whatever Allen changes the name of his company to next I discovered another company name he is using. When he bought my paint he used the company name Dunn Rite Construction. So Beware of that company also. My wife and I are in love with our new renovations. These guys did an outstanding job and I am going to make sure anyone that asks me who to go to comes to these guys. My wife is amazed with the results and I am really impressed with the craftsmanship. Thanks and we will be using you again on our future projects.
