  | Coral Gables Family Home | Apr 2022 | This design was driven by the client’s desire to feature their love of art and to entertain family and friends in a relaxed and friendly environment. The decor reflects a transitional style that melds traditional elements with more contemporary pieces. The atrium was key to the overall design. Located in the foyer it is the first space seen when entering the house. It was designed as an art installation featuring a faux green wall and custom artwork.   | A Real Dream On The Intracoastal | Mar 2019 | The remodel of this Intracoastal house was to create an elegant contemporary design so our client could enjoy the South Florida lifestyle, with the flexibility to host large or intimate events, indoors or outdoors. The client's love of wine inspired a temperature-controlled wine room for 460 bottles. Adding to the elegance of the house Venetian plastered ceilings were created in the foyer, living and dining rooms, a coffered ceiling detail in the family room and kitchen, and three contemporary styled fireplaces throughout the home. The main suite featured a sitting area, breakfast bar, a private office and a bathroom boasting a steam shower and a Victoria and Albert freestanding tub, and separate his and hers Toto water closets. | Pinecrest Bedroom | Apr 2022 | The Pinecrest bedroom was created for a couple who wanted to update their existing guest bedroom. They wanted a room that was inviting, comfortable and relaxing for their guests, where they could feel at home when visiting. It is part of a larger project which included several public spaces (foyer, living room, dining room and family room). We were so flattered to learn that our portfolio and thoughtful design process resonated with them, and they thought Kathryn Interiors was the perfect fit for their needs. The overall project took 6 weeks of design and planning and after 1 week of onsite installation we finished this beautiful Pinecrest bedroom.
