COMPANY INFORMATION Champion Design & Renovations is a full service, state licensed, residential remodeling and restoration company started by Brian Champion. I am a second generation real estate and construction professional following in my parent’s footsteps. I have technical degrees in two trades and have been self-employed for 29 years. I have been buying, remodeling and selling homes in the Greater Atlanta Metro area since 1987. I’m an accomplished professional with experience in permits, surveys, site plans, grading, home demolition, new home construction, additions, water & sewer line installation, fire and water restoration, mold remediation, and major home remodeling. I have more than 1000 jobs under my belt. I received my Georgia State Contractors license in June 2008, when the new state law became effective. Please visit the Georgia Secretary of State website for information on the new state law requirements. I have a Cobb County business license and am insured. I reside in Cobb County and have lived there the past 21 years. Champion Design & Renovations is a Federal EPA Certified Lead Safe Firm and is qualified to conduct lead-based painting renovation and repair. Champion Design & Renovations provides fast, dependable and courteous service. My employees are experienced professionals and experts in their trade. I hold them to very high standards, both personally and professionally. Champion Design & Renovations uses the highest quality materials, proper tools, installation techniques and we don’t cut corners. All of our work is done on time, on budget, and guaranteed for one year. Please reconsider if you are thinking of using Champion. They were recommended to me from a friend of a friend to gut our house, including a new kitchen, three bathrooms, floors, ceilings, etc. There were many problems over the 6 months of renovations. I don't mean the "not showing up and giving unrealistic completion times." That's expected in this industry and they filled that stereotype perfectly. I mean that I ended up being the GC, the painter that peed on my house, the three separate drywall contractors, one disappearing, one ruining our new floors (wait why did the floors go in before the ceiling was finished you may be thinking), the painter ruining a brand new Nest thermostat, 6 months and the ceiling is falling down, every contractor or vendor they recommended let us down in a big way and they claim responsibility for NONE of it. It's one thing to have issues and own it, even if you don't fix it, but they deny it. If you've read this far, you are seriously considering Champion. For internet validity, I do think it's important to say I don't give bad reviews which can be confirmed. You have to be so bad I'd take 15 minutes out of my day to warn others. Why the two stars? There are two contractors they have, Andy and Yanni, and they are the sole reason our Christmas wasn't ruined and we are living in the house. 100% customer satisfaction, not if their contactors mess up so badly that it costs them too much. Then they bail on you. If I treated people like they do, I'd be ashamed of myself. Unfortunately Champion renovations and design don't operate on that level of decency and ethics.
